TRAINING SESSIONS FOR DIGITAL TRAINERS AT EGA
Developing digital competencies and trainers’ skills in raising awareness of the benefits of using electronic public services was the aim of the training sessions, which took place on April 18th – 19th, 2024, and were organised in partnership with the Institute for European Policies and Reforms (IEPR) and the support of GIZ Moldova, within the e-Governance Agency’s (EGA) Centre for Innovation and Training in Digital Governance, for 44 librarians from different localities of the country.
“Digital trainers have the role of assisting citizens in different localities, including rural areas, to benefit from online public services through secure digital interactions, but also to contribute to the development of digital skills of all users of digital tools. We aim to increase the number of digital trainers/messengers/ambassadors to increase citizens’ confidence in using digital services”, underlined EGA Director Andrei Prisăcar at the start of training.
During the two days, trainers Olga Tumuruc, an associate expert in the field of digital transformation within IEPR and Victor Guzun, an expert in digitalization policies IEPR, focused on practical exercises on the use of digital tools, such as electronic signature, authentication on digital platforms via MPass, requesting public services via Public Services Portal, granting or revoking powers of attorney via mpower.gov.md platform, making electronic payments via mpay.gov.md and Cultural Voucher, accessing data in the virtual cabinet MCabinet, as well as requesting delivery of documents using the government service MDelivery. Librarians also had the opportunity to test the new mobile application EVO, developed by EGA.
In the end, librarians mentioned the usefulness of these sessions for enhancing their digital skills and confirmed that they are ready to provide support to their colleagues in more than 2500 libraries across the country, as well as to members of the communities they represent.
