More than 300 participants of the Diaspora Days, which took place on August 17-18, 2024, in Chisinau, visited the information stand of the E-Governance Agency for (AGE), dedicated to Governanceal digital platforms and services developed in the Republic of Moldova.

For two days, EGA specialists communicated with the participants of the “See you at home” Festival and Diaspora Business Forum, at an exhibition stand set up to promote digital public services accessible from any corner of the world by providing applied information about the functionalities of MCabinet, MSign, MPower, MDelivery etc.

At the Diaspora Business Forum, there was also a Workshop entitled: “Digitalization - services and tools for diaspora access”, during which Andrei Prisacar, EGA’s Director, reported about the digital platforms and services implemented by the Government of the Republic of Moldova, which offer a multitude of benefits and opportunities to our fellow citizens in the diaspora. Participants emphasized the importance of actively informing and promoting digital solutions among diaspora.

Visitors to the EGA stand had the opportunity to obtain an ID card and electronic signature directly from the operators of the Public Services Agency. Digital signature holders accessed the Governance EVO and Evosign applications. And those who correctly answered the questions of a questionnaire on the knowledge of the digital transformation in the Republic of Moldova were awarded with prizes and gifts in the form of informational and promotional materials, produced by EGA with the support of the implementing partner of the project “Modernization of Governance Services” - the World Bank Group.

Diaspora Days is an annual event to promote the dialogue between the diaspora and the country, but also to mobilize citizens from all over the world in a common effort to promote, support and develop the Republic of Moldova.
