EGA AND ORANGE COOPERATE TO SUPPORT USERS IN ACCESSING DIGITAL SERVICES

2024-07-10 00:00

Key functionalities of the EVO application and the practical ways in which it connects citizens and business environment with the State administration were presented today during a practical workshop organized by the Electronic Governance Agency (EGA) for a group of Orange Moldova employees, within the Training Programme on New Digital Governance Solutions.

Through practical demonstration and relevant examples, participants were guided to explore available electronic public services. To streamline the provision of mobile phone services, the EVO application can be used in the process of verifying digital IDs, which are equivalent to physical IDs and which, according to Law No. 321/2023, must be accepted in any report and interaction.

Use of the EVO application by operators can contribute to a higher level of:

-  Customer satisfaction and a trusting relationship with users, providing them with support in using the EVO application and accessing online government services;

-  Operational efficiency by reducing response time to requests related to the use of digital platforms and electronic public services;

-   Competitiveness in the marketplace by having enhanced capabilities to provide extended support for government applications.

In this context, the course beneficiaries reconfirmed their commitment to keep pace with new technologies and facilitate access to essential public services for the population, noting that the workshop was a new opportunity to improve the end-user experience by providing easy and fast access to essential government resources.

Private sector involvement can help accelerate the adoption and deployment of innovative digital solutions and increase the efficiency and transparency of public administration, as well as users’ confidence in the services accessed via digital technology.
