EXPANDING PARTNERSHIP IN DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION IN EDUCATION

Cooperation Agreement between the e-Governance Agency (EGA) and the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova (ASEM) was signed electronically between the two parties, represented by Andrei Prisăcar, Director of EGA and Alexandru Stratan, Rector of ASEM.

 

The signed Agreement is a strong commitment to collaboration and marks a significant milestone in our joint efforts to promote digital transformation and prepare the next generation of digital leaders and professionals.

 

By this Agreement, we aim to:

 -       Facilitate the mutual exchange of knowledge to ensure quality training of students and teachers;

 -       Provide internships and training, as well as participation in scientific research, projects and relevant events in the field of information technologies;

 -       Provide support for didactic and extra-curricular activities carried out by ASEM students;

 -       Contribute to the development and dissemination of methodological and didactic work in common areas of activity

 -       Engage in the organisation and conduct of events and activities of common interest to promote the exchange of ideas and experiences in the segment of digital transformation.

 

By these commitments, EGA and ASEM aim to strengthen collaboration and make significant contributions to improving the training of specialists by adjusting them to market needs and aligning them with European standards that are applied in the creation of e-Governance solutions.

 

Andrei Prisăcar, Director of EGA, underlined the importance of this collaboration and said, “We are committed to working together to promote innovation and excellence in digital transformation and to support the continued progress of our society. We are confident that together we will achieve remarkable results”.

 

For his part, Alexandru Stratan, Rector of ASEM emphasized, “This initiative provides our students with significant learning and development opportunities in the field of digital transformation through direct interaction with those at the forefront of innovation and digital progress. We are counting on a collaboration that will enrich our student’s academic experience and help prepare them to become powerhouse specialists in an evolving digital world”.

 

Cooperation Agreement opens new horizons for both institutions and the entire academic and technological community in Moldova.

 

Previously, EGA and ASEM have jointly organised a series of information sessions for both students and faculty, as well as collaborated on hackathons and other events aimed at providing practical insights into the application of digital technologies in different fields, inspiring students to explore and innovate in this field.
