A new public service has been digitized with the support of the e-Governance Agency and it concerns the certificate of receiving/not receiving social benefits online. The document is now available for download via the Government Portal for Citizens and Law Units (mcabinet.gov.md).

Benefits of using online service:  

• Rapidity: Certificate can be obtained in real-time, without having to go to the desk.
• Security: Certificate is electronically signed, having the same legal effect as a paper document.
• Convenience: Certificate can be downloaded and stored electronically, making it easily accessible when needed.

How to get the certificate online: 

1. With your electronic signature, go to the Government Portal for Citizens (mcabinet.gov.md);
2. Go to the Citizen’s Personal Cabinet and select the data block “Social Insurance, National Office of Social Insurance”.
3. Click on the “Apply for Certificate of Social Benefits” button.
4. View and download the certificate.

In 2023, 21.585 paper certificates were issued from the public system of social insurance. Certificates were issued at the desk of the National Office of Social Insurance.

The e-Service was developed by the National Office of Social Insurance with the support of the e-Governance Agency and is part of the Digital Transformation Strategy which aims to digitise 100% of public services by 2030.
