2024-04-16 10:59

E-Governance Agency, under the aegis of the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, announces the start of Beta testing of the EVO application for the more than 3.500 citizens registered on the test list.

People who registered to test the application via evo.gov.md and provided complete information about their mobile phone’s operating system received the application for testing.

Thus, more than 3.500 people received instructions on how to access the app on a test basis, both by email and on the dedicated direct communication group, as follows:

iOS users: An email from the TestFlight App with instructions on how to access it.

Android users: Direct link to access the Play Store.

 Important to know:

  • Versions provided for testing: 83 for Android and 90 for iOS
  • Access to all features of the app requires authentication with an electronic signature. Users with no electronic signature will have limited access.
  • Beta version works with real data, reflecting the real identity of the user.
  • User feedback is crucial for troubleshooting and continuous optimization of EVO.

What is available for EVO Beta testing?

  • Digital documents and Digital ID Wallet
  • MPay payments and management of state payment receipt accounts
  • Personal and tax information
  • Business data
  • Healthcare information - insured person status of the user and children
  • Access to information about public services with the option to initiate the process of obtaining it from the application for electronic ones

We know that many people wanted to see and experience the EVO user experience. This is why we are releasing the test version to the public - to make the development process as inclusive as possible. This is just the beginning, but this first step is very important to strengthen EVO. As of today, everyone who has access to EVO has their paperwork in digital format and we encourage them to use it to the fullest and report directly to us if they have had any difficulties using it. We also remind all institutions about the obligation to accept digital documents submitted via EVO.”, says Dumitru Alaiba, Minister for Economic Development and Digitalization.

How can errors be reported?

Via the “Leave us feedback” button available on the main screen of the app. Reported errors and feedback will be analysed and prioritised by the development team and the list of improvements will be included in regular updates of the application.

Why is it being tested in Beta?

Beta testing aims to eliminate errors and unforeseen issues that could impact the user experience. The entire development team relies on community support and reporting of issues encountered during testing.
