REGISTRATION FOR EVO BETA TESTING HAS CLOSED. MORE THAN 5.000 PEOPLE PARTICIPATE IN TESTING AND CONTRIBUTE TO ITS IMPROVEMENT
Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization and e-Governance Agency announce the closing of registrations for Beta testing of EVO, the app that brings public services directly to citizens’ mobile phones.
Since the launch of registrations on March 21st, 2024, more than 5.000 people have expressed interest in testing the application, reaching the maximum capacity set for this phase.
The first group of around 3.500 registered people has already received access to the application and a new update will be provided this week and extended to the whole group.
“More than 3.500 people have expressed interest in testing the app since the first days of the registration call, and another 1.500 registered after we provided the first version for testing. A result far beyond our initial expectations. We are very pleased with the interest of citizens because it is only with the help of the community that we will be able to ensure that we launch a stable and bug-free application. EVO’s development process is and will continue to be inclusive and we are counting on everyone’s support, both before and after the launch.”, said Dumitru Alaiba, Minister for Economic Development and Digitalization.
What’s next?
During this period, the development team will focus its efforts on eliminating critical errors and cataloguing the reviews received to ensure that the final version of EVO is as robust and efficient as possible.
In the meantime, all those who were not able to register for testing are invited to fill in the form on evo.gov.md to be informed about the public release of the application.
