DIGITAL INFORMATION AND EDUCATION PROGRAMME STARTED WITH ENTHUSIASM AND ACTIVE PARTICIPATION
More than 30 participants, who registered online, including civil servants, entrepreneurs, librarians, teachers, journalists, representatives of local and central public authorities, and representatives of diaspora associations, were the first beneficiaries of the course based on the knowledge and use of e-governance products, which was held yesterday, January 18th, 2024, online.
During the 2 hours, participants learned how to sign electronic documents, log in to digital government platforms, create remote powers of attorney, make electronic payments, request public services remotely and place orders for home delivery of documents, and many other topics related to simple, convenient and fast interaction with government institutions (without physical presence) to obtain public services.
The feedback from the trainees at the end of the webinar was extremely encouraging and important for us and the preparation for future sessions.
As part of our Digital Nation Campaign, the e-Governance Agency will organise information sessions for organised groups of people (minimum 20 - maximum 30) throughout 2024. The aim is to prepare citizens to interact effectively with public institutions online using digital government tools.
Outreach activities are organised weekly, every Thursday from 14:00 to 16:00, online and offline.
This year, we are focusing even more determinedly on digital education, given the importance of raising the level of digital literacy in society and the contribution we can make to a digitally aware and active society.
