EASY ONLINE ACCESS TO ARCHIVAL CERTIFICATES VIA DIGITAL PLATFORM FOR REQUESTS AND HOME DELIVERY
Citizens of the Republic of Moldova can request online archival certificates drawn up based on parish registers for the period 1820-1922. Thereby, since January 2024, the new digital platform has been operating whereby the submission of applications for obtaining archival certificates on birth, marriage, and death from the funds of the National Archives Agency (ANA) is possible on the institution’s website: www.arhiva.gov.md and on the Public Services Portal https://servicii.gov.md/ro/service/002000345
Also, the issuance of archival documents (on paper) can be done without physical interaction with government employees, which means that the beneficiary can receive his/her certificate at home without going to the desk to pick it up. Issued certificates can be delivered to the beneficiary’s home address via the government’s delivery service MDelivery, both within the Republic of Moldova and abroad. Delivery option, beneficiary’s address, and other details will be filled in by the applicant when submitting the online application.
The development and launch of the digital platform for online access to the services provided by the National Archives Agency aims to modernize and streamline public services and facilitate citizens’ access to the services provided by the National Archives Agency. The project was jointly developed with the Ministry of Justice and the e-Governance Agency.
It should be noted that the new electronic service is available to holders of electronic or mobile signatures.
At the same time, applications can also be submitted traditionally, at the single desk of the ANA (67/B Gheorghe Asachi Street), based on the online appointment, available at the following web address: https://programari.gov.md/ro/ana.
