Next to Germany, Portugal, Singapore and other countries, Moldova has been placed in top 10 countries with the best digital solutions. 

The Front-Office Digitization product (FOD) developed by EGA expert team is among the 10 finalists from a total of 50 nominations and we hope to win the Digital Service Design Special Prize in the contest supported by ITU and GovStack. The short list of finalists is available here.

According to the director of EGA, Olga Tumuruc, the Front-Office Digitization platform, which placed the country in top 10, has been designed by the e-Government Agency to digitize public services in a simple, standardized and inclusive manner. “It is integrated with all egov services, which include payments, data exchange, delivery, digital signature, notifications, and is already being used for services like Extract from the State Register of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs; Extract from the Real Estate Register; Extract from the Civil Status Register. Other digital services developed based on the FOD platform are expected to be launched in the upcoming weeks”, Mrs Tumuruc said.

The team that worked on the nominated project has been invited to participate in the World Summit on the Informational Society Forum 2023 organized by ITU in Switzerland next week.
