DIGITAL SCHOOL – A NEW EGA PARTNER FOR A MODERN AND PROSPEROUS FUTURE
The e-Governance Agency (EGA) will support the Digital School Initiative and will be fully involved in the modernization of the educational process and promotion of digital literacy of pupils and teachers who participate in this project.
"We stand together as partners to support these efforts and we will contribute to the digital transformation in school. The most challenging is to change some processes and introduce a different way of doing things. The e-Governance Agency has set itself the goal of modernizing and digitalizing the entire society and we will be very active and get involved in any initiative relating to this goal”, said Andrei Prisacar, EGA Deputy Director, today, 28 November 2022, during the event that was held at Tekwill.
The event brought together ambassadors, development partners, representatives of the 25 schools in the country, which will undergo an extensive digital transformation process and will be assisted as part of a development programme – the Digital School. It provides for the development of a digital transformation strategy, the improvement of infrastructure and computing equipment, communication and cooperation processes between pupils, teachers and parents, as well as the modernization of institutional management activities, together with a team of mentors and local experts, which will last one year.
The participants in today's event were informed about the programme beneficiary schools that shared their stories about digital and pedagogical transformation from the start of the programme and until present.
