ICT specialists are among the most demanded professionals in the Republic of Moldova. According to the World Economic Forum's report, 50% of employees will get a retraining or will acquire new skills over the next three years as technology becomes more widely used.
The event was organized by Tekwill Academy, with the financial support of UNDP Moldova, through the “Accelerating Digital Transformation in Public Sector" Project and external partners (USAID Moldova, Sweden) and the participating companies.
In order to facilitate the access of all people to digital services, the E-Governance Agency created a new type of mobile electronic identity and signature #MobiSign as a mobile application, which will provide people with free access to obtain and use the signature. It does not require card readers, it can be downloaded directly on the phone and does not hinder one from using mobile signature services provided by mobile operators on the same device. It will be used by both citizens in the country and those in the diaspora. The MobiSign concept and regulation have already been approved by the Government and the application is being tested. We remind that the digital signature has the same legal value as the handwritten signature and this fact is stipulated in the law.
