The e-Governance Agency (EGA) provides informational and methodological support to public institutions wishing to modernize and streamline their services provided to people, by means of available governmental electronic platforms and tools, through the continuous training of various categories and interested groups of people employed in the public system, who subsequently become e-ambassadors and promoters of digital governance.

Today, 20 May 2022, the e-Governance Agency, in partnership with the National Library of the Republic of Moldova (BNRM) and the Centre for Continuous Training in Library and Information Sciences, organized a webinar on current electronic services for the development of digital skills and the promotion of digital governance products among the staff employed in libraries. The event was attended by about 70 participants, e-ambassadors, representatives of national, public, territorial, city, rayon, university and specialized libraries from different places in Moldova.

Participants mentioned that one of the services provided by libraries relates to e-governance services which are used to promote the knowledge and skills of accessing and operating on governmental platforms, while the knowledge gained by e-Ambassadors during the training will be applied in the process of assisting the library visitors in using the technology to access electronic services. "The library is a public service and its duty is to diversify its services offered to the library users, and this process is based on the use of information technologies", mentioned Ludmila Corghenci, Head of the Centre for Continuous Training in Library and Information Sciences.

For the future, EGA and NBRM agreed to organize further information sessions on the new governmental electronic services, such as MobiSign, MDelivery, etc., which will be launched by EGA in the next period.
