The e-Governance Agency (EGA), together with other public institutions, national and international organizations, participated in the celebration of Europe Day 2022, an event organized on 14 May 2022 in the Great National Assembly Square.

Upon the invitation of the organizer, the European Union Delegation to Moldova, EGA presented a series of information activities aimed at testing the knowledge and use of government electronic services, in the form of online tests. Thus, the persons who visited the Government's tent had the opportunity to participate in a contest with prizes from EGA, in which they tested their knowledge and assessed their readiness for the digital age.  

Those who took the highest score were awarded the most valuable prizes, while others received information materials about the EGA's activity and current digital projects, and were urged to become better informed and active users of digital public services. A quiz was also designed specifically for children to test their knowledge of online safety.

At the same time, as part of the European Village, EGA presented a series of videographs on how to access publicly available online services and government platforms, which were projected on the screen in the Government's space reserved in the European Village 2022.

Through these actions, EGA joined the initiative of the EU Delegation to Moldova and this year's motto "Solidarity for Peace", a call for unity and solidarity for the entire community.

EGA attended the event together with representatives of public institutions, diplomatic missions of the EU member states accredited in Chisinau and various entities that implement projects with the support of the European Union.

The European Village is an event organized every year on the occasion of Europe Day, through a series of activities designed to provide an overview of the European cultural diversity and to inform people about the European Union and the assistance offered to the Republic of Moldova.
