DESPRE

We are launching a new information campaign - Modernization through Digitalization

2021-12-09 08:04

The e-Governance Agency launches today, 9 December 2021, a campaign to inform the general public about the new public services that were reengineered and modernized and will be available electronically to all citizens.

The campaign entitled "Digitized Public Services - Abolished Burdens" aims at popularizing the new public services that were digitized and became accessible online.

Today, we announce the launch of the Automated Information System for Registration of the Unemployed. As a result of the re-engineering and modernization of the service provided by the National Employment Agency, as a service provider, citizens can submit online their application for registration as unemployed, without being obliged to go to the Agency's office, as it has been so far. It is important for the potential beneficiaries of this service to know that the application can be submitted both in traditional form (on paper) and in electronic form, certified by a digital signature.

The re-engineering team of the e-Governance Agency, jointly with the National Employment Agency, have redesigned and have improved the way of registering citizens who apply for the unemployed status, giving them the opportunity to submit online the application for registration, by accessing the system at https://e-iss.anofm.md/.

The EGA Project Manager, Vasile Postolachi, noted that the digitization of this service entails a number of benefits, both for citizens and for the administration. These include: shorter time to provide the service, less red tape, no paper, no congestion at the counter, less visits to the office and lower costs.

In the coming period, we will announce the launch of new digital services, which are part of the re-engineering package and refer to a wide range of social services for special and other purposes.

The National Employment Agency is designated as the owner and holder of the Automated Information System for the Registration of Unemployed and shall ensure its implementation, operation and development.

Upon the launch of the new system, applicants will be able to submit the application for registration as unemployed in several ways: online, in-person at the Territorial Employment Service and, soon, through the Unified Service Provision Centres.

The system is hosted by the shared MCloud platform and is integrated with government electronic services, such as MConnect, MPass and MSign. Also, if the applicant submitted the application from his/her account, he/she may follow the stages of examination of the application, as well as the decision on determination of the unemployment benefit, as the case may be, and subsequently the unemployed person may inform electronically the STOFM (territorial employment subdivisions) about the occurrence of any condition for the suspension of the benefit payment.

The digitalization of services was carried out under the "Modernization of Government Services" Project, implemented by the Electronic Governance Agency with the support of the World Bank Group.
