EGA – a partner for public institutions in remote training
The e-Learning government platform, developed and managed by the e-Governance Agency (EGA), becomes an easy-to-use tool for the training and professional development of public institution employees. Today, 10 December 2021, at the launch of the first course on this platform by the National Anticorruption Centre (CNA), Svetlana Macrinici, Head of the Centre for Innovation and Training in Digital Governance and Vlad Saptefrati, Software Developer at EGA, presented in detail the functionalities and benefits of the platform.
The event brought together the heads of training centres for public authorities and institutions, which are in responsible for the continuous training of public sector employees. It aims at ensuring a higher efficiency in the organization of training activities in the field of integrity and anti-corruption for public sector employees.
During this event, Svetlana Macrinici presented and exemplified in detail the aspects regarding the use of the remote training platform, its operation mechanism, as well as its benefits, such as: free and unrestricted access to information of professional interest, shorter time and lower costs, simple use and a high level of professionalism in the professional evaluation mechanism following the attendance of courses.
Vlad Saptefrati made a detailed presentation on: stages and ways of accessing the e-Learning platform; account creation (either as an administrator, trainer or trainee); ways of navigating and studying the available modules; selecting the desired field of training, as well as the method of application and registration for the available courses. The EGA expert also explained the contents of the evaluation form and how to access it.
The e-Learning government platform is an information system, which is part of the state information resources of the Republic of Moldova. The concept and functionalities of the platform were developed with the support of experts and specialists of the e-Governance Agency, based on the Government Decision no.411 of 24 June 2020. The main goal of the e-Learning Government Platform is to enable employees in public institutions, as well as those in the private sector, to attend training and continuous training courses, considering situations with a global impact, such as the COVID-19 pandemic.
