EGA ensures the modernization of public services through digitalization
The e-Governance Agency (EGA) continues to modernize public services by reengineering and digitizing them. In this context, at the meeting held today, 2 February 2022, the Government approved the Concept of the Information System "Determination of disability and work capacity" and the Regulation on the organization and operation of the Information System "Determination of disability and work capacity" (SIA DDCM).
The document provides for the development of an information resource and system, which will allow increasing the efficiency of procedures for determining disability and work capacity, as well as ensuring interoperability with other information systems, to collect information needed to determine the degree of disability of applicants, and ensure their records.
The implementation of SIA DDCM will also allow performing in a timely manner operations such as:
1. Online submission of the file by the applicant/beneficiary;
2. Reduction in half of the time for the provision of the requested service;
3. Online access to the booking system;
4. Possibility to check online the status of the application submitted by the citizen/applicant;
5. Reduction of the number of documents required to be submitted by the applicant, as some of them will be accessible and verified through the interoperability platform - MConnect;
6. Facilitation of access through the MPass and MSign government platforms.
This project will be financed by the Modernization of Government Services Project, implemented by the e-Governance Agency and the International Development Association, according to the Loan Agreement between the Republic of Moldova and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
