More than 40 young volunteers from Căușeni and Ungheni benefited from the 2024 Digital Information and Education Programme and offered the beneficiaries significant digital development opportunities via the webinar organised on the Zoom platform on February 14^th, 2024.

This online information session was attended by young volunteers from the two localities, determined to become active users of digital public services and also to help older people in their community to access digital services in various aspects of daily life and to become familiar with technology, thus contributing to the digital empowerment of seniors in their community.

Young volunteers are members of HelpAge International Moldova, the e-Governance Agency’s e-Governance partner, with whom we have been successfully collaborating for several years in the field of digital inclusion and support for older people. During the webinar, practical exercises to access digital platforms were demonstrated, videos were shown and essential information resources were made available to participants to support learning and adaptation to new digital technologies.

This event represented another essential step in promoting awareness and use of the digital services and platforms that the e-Governance Agency is developing, following the objectives set by the Government in the field of digital transformation, to bring added value in all priority areas in the country.

This initiative reflects EGA’s ongoing commitment to promoting digital inclusion and ensuring that all members of the community have access to the digital resources and services they need to improve their quality of life.
