The Director of the E-Governance Agency, Olga Tumuruc, addressed a message to the participants in the event „Tekwill Expo Day”, organized today, 23 June, 2022, in Chisinau.

Olga Tumuruc: “I congratulate the young inventors, winners of Tekwill competitions, who impressed us with their creations and invite them to participate in the projects developed by the e-Governance Agency. We will be pleased to team with you to develop digital governance products and services that will be useful and appreciated not only in the country but also beyond its borders – to become ambassadors of digitalization internally, and to strengthen Moldova’s image as an advanced country – a benchmark for other countries in the region”.

The event brought together ministers, ambassadors, development partners, children, parents, pupils, students and teachers, beneficiaries of Tekwill’s initiatives and projects, in order to present and showcase all the technologies developed and implemented by Tekwill that are used in the education process.

At Tekwill Expo Day, the general audience, IT companies, small and medium-size enterprises benefiting from the products developed, all guests and interested people attending the event had the opportunity to give appreciation to the best projects developed by the students and mentors of the programs, to attend workshops and participate in raffles with prises aimed at raising awareness of the engineering programs.

During the event, the 30 beneficiary schools of the “Digital School” initiative were announced, which would go through a comprehensive digital transformation programme under the guidance of a team of international and local experts, and the winning teams of the competitions organised by Tekwill were awarded.

The event also kicked off the “Tekwill Every School” Summer Training Programme for 600 teachers who will teach Tekwill subjects in schools starting in the 2022-2023 school year.
