How does it work?
MPass offers several authentication methods, tailored to users' needs:
- Qualified Electronic Signature. Authentication using a qualified electronic signature is essential for users, who can choose from:
Mobile Electronic Signature, offered by Orange and Moldcell companies. It can be obtained quickly using an identity card.
Electronic Signature on a Cryptographic Device (USB Token), available through the Information Technology and Cybersecurity Service (STISC) or at the Multifunctional Centers of the Public Services Agency (ASP).
Both the mobile electronic signature and the USB token electronic signature hold the same legal value as a handwritten signature, eliminating the need for physical presence or physical documents.
- Government Application EVOSign
Once you obtain the secure authentication key – EVOSign – you will discover numerous other digitalization benefits, such as:
A cultural voucher for access to events and cultural resources, intended for young people aged 18.
Documents available on your phone through the EVO application, eliminating the need for physical documents.
Integration with over 190 government and private platforms and services, making the digital experience unified and efficient.
- Two-Step Authentication
For added security, candidates can opt for two-step authentication:
This can be activated through MPass by accessing the dedicated section.
After setting up a verification code, users can install an "Authenticator" app and link their account by scanning a QR code.
