The World Bank Group included Moldova’s e-Transformation experience in the publication "Building Effective, Accountable, and Inclusive Institutions in Europe and Central Asia"

The World Bank Group selected the Republic of Moldova’s case study "Governance e-Transformation and Modernization of Government Services" for the analytical report "Building Effective, Accountable, and Inclusive Institutions in Europe and Central Asia: Lessons from the Region", launched publicly on 9 July 2020 during an online event.
The report was compiled by World Bank Group experts and experts from Europe and Central Asia (ECA) region who attended the first ECA Regional Governance Conference on 11-12 June 2019.
Based on the experience of implementing governance reforms presented by a number of countries in the region at the ECA Governance Conference, for each reform area a small group of countries was selected, whose implementation pathway, projects, approaches and challenges are relevant and revealing as practices and lessons worth sharing with the international community.
"Countries around the world are facing the need to build effective, accountable, and inclusive institutions. There has never been a more important moment to tackle this agenda, as countries grapple with increasing fragility and migration flows, more complex service delivery requirements, and greater demands for transparency and inclusion, all in a more resource-constrained environment. Moreover, the COVID-19 pandemic crisis has provided new evidence of the need for effective, accountable, and inclusive government responses." (Excerpt from the Introduction to the Report).
The analytical report is available in English for public access here.
